By creating an account, you agree to these terms. Founderest is a planning and guidance tool for founders building a startup — it helps you plan your idea, turns that plan into build instructions for your own AI coding tool, and helps you find your first customers. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Founderest uses AI (via Anthropic's Claude models) to generate advice, plans, and build instructions. AI output can be wrong. You're responsible for reviewing anything Founderest generates — including build prompts, security recommendations, and legal or compliance guidance — before acting on it or relying on it, especially anything with legal, financial, or security consequences for your own product.
You own your Blueprint, your project data, and anything you build using Founderest. We don't claim ownership over your startup idea, your code, or your business. We do need a license to store and process what you enter so we can run the product — that's the only use we make of it.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly, unless you choose otherwise) via Stripe. You can cancel anytime — your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again after that. We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law. Your Blueprint and business plan remain accessible on the Free plan after you cancel a paid plan.
Don't use Founderest to build or plan anything illegal, to abuse the AI advisors in ways designed to extract harmful content, or to attempt to access another account's data. We may suspend accounts that violate this.
Founderest helps you plan and build — it doesn't guarantee your startup will succeed, that your app will be free of bugs, or that any specific number of customers will find you. Business advice, including from the AI advisors, is guidance, not a promise of results.
Founderest is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the product, including business losses, lost profits, or data loss. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the product or other users.
If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through the product before the changes take effect.
